Naral’s mom decided that it’s about time for her to get a plastic surgery either in a beauty center on Bajor or on Earth. She’s still deciding where undergoing:
- a tummy tuck
- a liposuction
- or breast augmentation
I’m trying to help her choose where to go, because these operations are kind of delicate, and they need to be performed in an extremely sterile environment to avoid immunitary rejections and other bad reactions to the treatment.
So far, the aesthetics center I found to be meeting our requirements is Rodeo Drive. The center, founded by Dr. Lloyd Krieger, was convinced of the benefit of taking good care of his patients, inform them about the type of surgery they would undergo, the procedure, and reassure them - with a human touch - about it. Those qualities seem to have been lost by a lot of centers and hospitals around here, and I’m glad somewhere else in the world, people who care still exist and work throughoutly to improve people’s lives.
Above, in the surgery types, I added links: they are all informational sites owned by Rodeo Drive, and I put them there so that you can read more about the procedures they perform on patients, since they added long descriptions, photo galleries and a bunch of testimonials.
I’m sure Naral’s mom would be safe with them, and that she would finally get the parts of her body - that made her loose the smile - removed as soon as possible. You see, Naral’s mom’s never been so happy about her chubby and almost flat-chested body, which is nothing wrong in itself, but she feels it as something not like “me” when she looks at herself in the mirror.
Believe it or not, the psychological factor is crucial in a person’s well-being, and sometimes a little operation on the body can help save the mind. Really. It’s only important that it is done SAFELY, because life is too precious to ever be wasted.
